Student Experiences

Arlington Heights celebrates students with SOARing behavior in a variety of ways. Students who SOAR (supportive, open-minded, an achiever, and resilient) receive SOAR bucks to purchase items and experiences on the weekly SOAR Cart and monthly SOAR Store. Many students elect to purchase staff coupons to participate in special adventures such as jogging with a teacher, serving as the principal for an hour, and more! Monthly, Eagles of the Month, and annually, Eagles of the Year, are celebrated during morning announcements. Students are selected by their teachers for showing SOARing behavior. After-school clubs are active and free ways for all students to explore new hobbies such as robotics, Legos, fitness, and more.

Community Partnership

Arlington Heights Elementary is a student-centered school where the goal is to provide all with unique learning opportunities. Through community partnerships with a variety of organizations, students have a chance to engage in learning both on and off campus grounds. From the Bloomington Fire Department presenting to our students to learning lessons at Griffy Lake, we have a variety of opportunities for every grade to participate in. We have also partnered closely with Texas Roadhouse to celebrate students showing SOARing behavior all year long with a school-wide field trip to the restaurant. The celebration offers a unique approach to student recognition.
