DEC. 12 - MCCSC eLearning
Today, Dec. 12, all MCCSC schools will move to real-time (synchronous) eLearning due to inclement weather. Classes begin online at the regular time. You will receive eLearning information via Canvas from your teacher or school. All in person programs, which include the Early Learning Centers (both North and South locations), preschools and pre-K programs, and extended day will be closed. All extracurricular activities are canceled. Any approved exceptions will be communicated directly to coaches and families.
In addition, all MCCSC Saturday events are canceled. We have been closely monitoring this weather system, and forecasts predict approximately 4-6 inches of additional snowfall. To help families and staff plan, we felt it was important to make this decision as early as possible.
Food service pickup for families will be available at Templeton and Fairview Elementary from 12-1:30 p.m. Families should RSVP at the form here to request the number of meals that are needed. Pickup at Templeton at Door 13. Pickup at Fairview at Door 12.

About Us
Arlington Heights Elementary, situated on 17 beautiful acres on the northwest side of Bloomington, serves a student population of approximately 330 students in preschool through sixth grade. Arlington Heights is a school where teachers work collaboratively, differences are valued and respected, and children are always put first. As a PBIS and Well-Managed School, we believe in celebrating students’ social and emotional successes. We have many fun and rewarding activities for students exhibiting positive behavior. We believe that when parents and teachers work together, everyone benefits. We offer several opportunities for parents to attend school events such as Literacy Night, Career Day, Grandparents and Special Friends Day, and Family Movie Night. These events and others emphasize the importance of a strong school and home connection.
